Nolan Gould joins Barry Corbin in the cast of the Chiller network project, based on the horror novel by Brian Keene.
Nolan Gould, who plays Luke on ABC’s hit comedy Modern Family, and veteran actor Barry Corbin, who has appeared in No Country for Old Men and TNT’s The Closer, have joined the cast of Chiller’s first original telefilm Brian Keene’s Ghoul.Gould will star as lead character, the fearless Timmy Graco, while Corbin will play his devoted grandfather, Dane.
Based on the novel by Keene, Ghoul centers on a group of young friends who risk their lives to stop who — or what — is behind a handful of disappearances in their town. The TV movie was penned by William M. Miller and is directed by Gregory M. Wilson. Moderncine’s Andrew van den Houten and Robert Tonino are producing.
Production on the project has already begun in Baton Rouge, La., with the film set for a fourth quarter premiere on Chiller.
It was announced in March that the cable network had greenlighted Ghoul, along with two other original projects, Steve Niles’ Remains and Chiller 13: Horror’s Creepiest Kids.
Gould is repped by Stone Manners Salners Agency and M/C Talent Management. Corbin, who has several films coming down the pipeline, is repped by Linda McAlister Talent and Elkins Entertainment.
